promiseQ Cloud

promiseQ Cloud is the centralized platform where all the distributed promiseQube devices come together. Think of the Qube as your on-premise video and AI processing unit, and the Cloud as its command center and collaboration hub.

At its core, promiseQ Cloud is:

  • A remote management platform – It lets you add, configure, and control Qubes and their connected cameras from anywhere, without needing to be physically on-site.
  • A secure communication layer – The Qube communicates outward to the Cloud using secure standardized protocols, which means the Cloud doesn’t poke holes into local networks; instead, the Qube initiates trusted connections.
  • A monitoring and analytics interface – From the Cloud, you can see live streams, review recordings, manage alarms, check device health, and analyze data.
  • A collaboration hub – Multiple users can securely share access to Qubes with fine-grained permission settings, so teams can work together without exposing raw device access.
  • A bridge to integrations – It connects with external systems (cloud storage, analytics pipelines, or third-party applications), making Qubes not just isolated boxes but part of a wider ecosystem.

Connect your Qube to the promiseQ Cloud​

To connect your Qube to promiseQ Cloud, follow these steps:

You can reconnect a Qube to another account if you want to change the main user of it later.

  1. Create a Qube Resource in the Cloud
    • In the promiseQ Cloud sidebar, click Add Qube.
    • Enter a preferred name for your Qube and click Add Qube.
    • A unique connection token will be generated and displayed in the Cloud interface.
  2. Copy the Token
    • Copy the generated token for use in the next step.
  3. Configure the Qube Device
    • Log in to the Qube’s local web interface.
    • Navigate to Qube Settings → Connect Cloud.
    • Paste the copied token into the provided field.
  4. Connect and Restart
    • Click Connect.
    • You will be prompted to restart the Qube. Confirm and restart the device.
  5. Verify Connection
    • After the restart, your Qube will appear in the Cloud sidebar, confirming successful integration.
